met up with a girlfriend tonight and her kiddies.
the kids had fun playing and we had fun gabbing.

they are so much nicer to each other

(and it was NOT staged!)

they were hugging and kissing all day long.

i started to think about it,
why cant they always be like this?

what is triggering them to be so NICE to each ohter.
the logic? the reasons?

and then i decided to just ENJOY it.

and that, i did.

i'm liking this age.
such funny things that he says.
making up names and stories.
love it.

friday he got a dinosaur in a happy meal that he is obsessed with.
he told us his name was reckteen and he will not put him down
since friday. playing, eating and sleeping with him.
reckteen? where did he get that? who knows. but i chuckle
to myself everytime he calls for it or refers to it by name.

also he asked grammy who came up with the name "grammy". i dont really like it he says. who thought of that silly word?
so he says, i think i like browlish better. im going to call grammy, browlish. i asked who made that up. he says, i did, but it sounds
better than grammy does. ummmm ok. so yes, he is now calling my mom browlish!!! this morning he said, i have to tell browlish that we went outside in the snow last night and me and you had snowball fights. do you think browlish is at work yet?? how do i not laugh?

!! SNOW !!

we just got home from grammys.
7:30 ish. had a ton to do..
daddy was working overtime ...

me- i dont know jack, its getting late.. and by the time we
get all bundled up and theres so much to do in here..

jack - please mommy. jus' me and you can go out when we get randa to bed.
after i rock her, you can just put her in and we will go out really fast.

me- well...........

jack- please mommy. pretty please with 2, 3, or 4 cherries on top?

me- ok. why not. you only live once, right?

jack- yup. you only live one time.

me- (laughing) what do you think that means??

jack - mommy, it means you have to go joy yourself all the time.

me - enjoy yourself all the time?? how did you know that??

jack - well, my brain just knew it and told me the answer i guess.

isnt it amazing how no matter what age you are,

friends are so extremely important?

we played at burger king yesterday for over 2 hours.

we had such a nice break in the weather,

and the kids loved it.

jack and caitlin, made some new friends too.

at the ages of 4 and 5,
