flops

last week we went to the mall
and jack saw these "flops" from the childrens place.
he HAD to have them. ok. $3.50 i can afford that.

also i dont want my kids to be like me,
because i HATED flip flops till last year
and even now can only wear a certain kind.
so i figured i would start them early..

so we get are walking out to the car and he says..
i cant wait to wear my flops when i get home.
stupid me corrected him.
huh? OOOOOHH your flip flops?
sure, you can wear em when you get home
but not outside because its too cold.
why, why, why did i correct him?
now he says flippy flops, which is cute,
but NOT as cute as flops.
sigh..

and hes been wearing them EVERY DAY since.
when we are home, of course!
